VALUE ADDED COURSES

ACADEMIC YEAR 2019 – 2020

Hyper mesh

  • This value added courses conducted for final year students. Hyper Mesh is used in aviation and aerospace industry for the analysis of local structures and identification and removal of redundant material. It speeds up CAD to Finite Element Modeling (FEM) creation with the help of building tools. It helps in meshing and automated model construction in the automotive industry. This course is conducted by Mr.N.Sivakumar, Assistant Professor.

CATIA

  • This course conducted for both third and final year students. CATIA is a French designed Computer Aided Design (CAD) tool. It is a three dimensional modeling tool. This tool is used in the design of various objects such as vehicles, buildings, components, etc. It is similar in use to Autocad, NX (Formerly known as UG), Pro-E (Wildfire), and many others. This course is conducted by Mr.A.Eswaran, Assistant Professor.

NON DESTRUCTIVE TESTING:

  • This course conducted exclusively for final year students. NDT (nondestructive testing) is a wide group of analysis techniques used in science and technology industry to evaluate the properties of a material, component or system without causing damage. It is, surely, better to do NDT - since there is a lot of scope for quality assurance department. This course is organized and conducted by M.Mahindaraperumal, Integrity Inspection Service, Rasipuram

Robotics Process Automation (RPA) Tools

  • Robotic Process Automation saves time and human efforts to a major extent. It is a time saver and a cost-effective one too. Important features of robotic process automation include platform independence, scalability, and intelligence. Robotic Process Automation (RPA), a technology that uses software robots to automate repetitive tasks and manual processes—enhancing the work of your employees by interacting with websites, business and desktop applications, databases and people to execute repetitive and often mundane work.
