and how to approach your life and work. Simply, soft skills are effective use of interpersonal skills
and they characterize how you interact with other people in the workplace. Soft skills are the life
skills, personality traits, and communication abilities in your workplace which spells success in your
organization. In your workplace these skills are essential for Problem-solving, Critical thinking,
leadership. Soft skills training enabled our students to “think out of box” both creatively and
critically. Using these skills, students will be able to weigh up their options, make informed
decisions, making them more likely to achieve the desired carrier.

skills. Training and English Department in GCT functions effectively and
conducts communication Skill Development Training for the first year
students. Training is focused on the four major components of language
and communication i.e., LSRW Listening Speaking Reading and Writing.
