Introduction

Biomedical Engineering department is a unique and multidisciplinary program that focuses on producing graduates who apply scientific knowledge and engineering design principles to contribute to the society. Biomedical technology is needed to improve the national healthcare system. Biomedical Engineers work with doctors, therapists and researchers to develop biomedical equipments, devices in order to solve clinical problems. Biomedical engineers have developed a number of life-enhancing and life-saving technologies.Our mission is to solve local medical problems and deal with these problems to improve human lives. This visualization leads us to address specific challenges in Health Care. All the laboratories are fully equipped with state-of-the-art biomedical engineering and imaging equipment and supported by uninterrupted power supply facility.

  • Modern tool usage: Create, select, and apply appropriate techniques, resources, and modern engineering and IT tools including prediction and modeling to complex engineering activities with an understanding of the limitations.
  • The engineer and society: Apply reasoning informed by the contextual knowledge to assess societal, health, safety, legal and cultural issues and the consequent responsibilities relevant to the professional engineering practice.

Now a day’s more medical device company’s worldwide, biomedical engineers use MATLAB to examine image and signal data, design controls and signal processing algorithms, to speed up medical device software and hardware development by efficiently integrating and automating the various phases of design, implementation, and verification and automatically generate reports.
